Hyderabad: To boost private-sector employment opportunities for Telangana's youth, the State government has launched three innovative courses under the Young India Skills University (YISU). Established to meet global industry standards, the university collaborates with leading companies to offer specialized training aligned with the future demands of Telangana’s 17 priority sectors, including pharma, construction, financial services, logistics, retail, and animation.

The IT and Industries department, under the leadership of Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, has developed these programs to bridge the gap between education and employment. According to an official statement, successful candidates will gain direct job placements with partner organizations, further enhancing the state's employment landscape.

The recently announced courses are offered in collaboration with KIMS Hospitals, AIG Hospitals, and T-Works, with plans to introduce more programs shortly. Aspirants are encouraged to visit the university's official website, www.yisu.in, for updates.

1. AIG Hospitals Endoscopy Technician Training Program

This six-month course is tailored for BiPC stream intermediate graduates under 25 years of age with a minimum of 50 per centmarks. It combines theoretical and practical training in endoscopy operations. The program fee is Rs10,000, with job placements available at AIG and other hospitals.

2. T-Works Prototyping Specialist Program

A two-month program, open to candidates aged 18 to 25 years with at least a 10th-grade education, focuses on hands-on training in advanced prototyping techniques, including CAD/CAM, 3D printing, CNC machining, and laser cutting. Graduates can secure positions as junior prototyping technicians, earning between Rs15,000 and Rs25,000 per month. The course fee is Rs3,000.

3. Medical Coding and Soft Skills Program

This 55-day course, open to B.Sc. Life Sciences graduates aged 18 to 25, includes 45 days of medical coding training and 10 days of soft skills enhancement. Participants will be prepared for roles as medical coding executives or trainees, with a course fee of Rs18,000.

With these offerings, Young India Skills University is dedicated to equipping Telangana’s youth with industry-relevant skills, fostering economic growth while addressing the needs of both job seekers and employers.
